Complete Smile Makeover Using Emax Ceram Restorations

In this case the patient presented herself to us at the lab to consult on a complete smile makeover. she was very nervous and spoke with a hand over her mouth. we sat down with her over a cup of coffee and talked about possible outcomes and also her expectations. after deciding between us we went ahead with fabricating Emax Ceram restorations and to alter her smile line. The final result was overwhelming for her with tears of joy at fitting. we have also received a email thanking us and saying how the restorations have boosted her confidence and Self esteem.
the case demonstrates how by careful planning and communication between Lab, Patient And Clinician the optimal beyond expectations result can easily be achieved.

This was a nice case we did with a did with a client Dr Aston Parmar of Cwmbran Dental Spa who clearly understands the importance of good Lab/Surgery communication. In this Particular case the patient was unable to attend lab for a shade take and tooth mapping session so we had to rely on Good Quality/Clear Photographs and also shade mapping done by the clinician. From this we were able to successfully identify the stump shade to the relevant Emax material shade required which was then 3/4 pressed to allow layers of Emax-ceram porcelain and effect to be added. After Numerous communications by various means back and forth from ourselves to the clinician we were able to produce a great result with a finished crown that chameleons in with the patients existing Teeth. Once again and good example of careful planning and teamwork by both the lab and the clinician.
